Harrison’s Unique Christmas Delivery

Donna and Darren are TikTok sensations, known as theddb1. They recently made a very generous gesture to the Rowans Hospice Charity by ordering £300 worth of items from the amazon wish list. They then visited the Hospice on Christmas Day and delivered presents to Patients and their families, as well as Staff and Volunteers. Everybody involved was extremely touched by this wonderful act of kindness and we are very grateful to Donna and Darren.
Darren (Manager of Crown Bingo Cosham) and his wife Donna, began using TikTok during Lockdown as a way to provide their Bingo customers with a link to the outside world. They did a series of dances just for entertainment, but it didn’t take long for their following to start to grow. The couple’s following now stands at over 90,000 with 1.1 million likes! Donna and Darren became a part of a close-knit community of at least 45 TikTokers who have provided help to one another during some tough times.
The pair made many friends through the community they had built and one very special friend in particular, Tanya Boyd. Tanya had sadly lost her 13-year old son, Harrison, following an eight-month battle with a rare form of cancer known as NUT Carcinoma. Along with the rest of their TikTok community, Darren and Donna supported Tanya in creating the Harrison’s Army social media movement and with support growing quickly across the country, the hashtag #HarrisonsArmy soon went viral.
At Christmas, the duo decided to start ‘Harrison’s Unique Christmas Delivery’, in which they and members of their community deliver gifts to children, struggling parents, hospices and hospitals on behalf of Harrison. The Rowans Hospice Charity were truly moved to have been selected to be part of such a beautiful cause.
Thank you so much Donna and Darren, the work you are doing is incredible.
