Donating in memory of a loved one is a wonderful way to support the work of Rowans Hospice and leave the lasting legacy of care in their name.
There are a number of ways that you can do this, all helping to make sure that we are there to provide the same level of care and support for families across our region in the future.
Rowans Hospice provides free care and support to patients, carers and the bereaved, living in Portsmouth and South East Hampshire, through services provided within the Hospice, Rowans Living Well Services and to people staying in their own homes.
We deeply value any donation made, and it will have a meaningful impact on individuals in our community grappling with life-limiting illnesses. Your support is crucial in providing vital assistance at the end of life, not only for the individual but also for their entire family.
If you wish to donate in memory of a loved one, please read more below about the different ways that you can do this.
We are able to supply collection tins and donation envelopes for funerals and memorials. Many people request donations in memory of a loved one instead of (or in addition to) having flowers. We also gratefully receive any flowers from your ceremonies, as these are re-purposed into small posies to be placed around the Hospice daily by our wonderful volunteers, to lift the spirit of anyone visiting or staying in our In-patient rooms.
Create a free online Tribute Page to continue your loved one’s story. Tribute Pages are an online memorial that allow you, your family and friends to remember your loved one by sharing memories, photos, lighting candles and making donations via the tribute. Your tribute remains open throughout the year for you to reflect on days that are meaningful to you and to share with family and friends.
Our online dedication page gives you the opportunity to add a personal dedication message, and also allowing you to post a photo and make an optional donation to Rowans.
We appreciate that supporting Rowans Hospice in memory of a loved one is individual to everyone. If you have any questions or would like any advice or support on giving in memory, please contact via info@rowanshospice.co.uk and a member of our team will get in touch with you.
