The Thrive Awards are a celebration of those times where staff and volunteers go above and beyond in their roles, supporting team members and our patients and families.

Lily passed her Fundraising Level 3 Apprenticeship with Distinction, following an 18-month programme. Her assessment included a 15-minute case for support presentation and an hour and a half interview.

Internal and external dependencies that influence the success of fundraisingLily has now secured a full-time, permanent role within the fundraising team as a Community and Events Fundraising Assistant, showcasing Rowans Hospice’s value of “Value” Recognising and acknowledging achievements, and celebrating success.

Charlotte has worked tirelessly on the implementation of the new finance system. She has provided support to the rest of the team and taken a lead while the Head of Finance has been on leave. The team have been under considerable pressure and Charlotte has approached the challenge calmly and methodically. I really appreciate her support and hard work.
