Life Changing Challenges provide experiences to some of the most epic places in the world that are challenging, exhilarating… and life changing. We’ve partnered with them so that people can take on any of their challenges and fundraise for Rowans Hospice at the same time.
There are several challenges to choose from, including…
Trips are usually ‘all-inclusive’, which means that flights and transfers, food and accommodation, and equipment are all included. Some additional trips and experiences might incur extra costs. Please check the What’s Included information for each trip on the LCC website.
You can choose to use sponsorship to pay for your experience (in which case you are given a minimum amount to raise that will cover the cost of the trip and provide a donation to Rowans Hospice), or you select the Self-funded option, which means you pay for the trip and 100% of any sponsorship you receive will come to Rowans Hospice.
If you do not self-fund, you should make people aware that a proportion of their donation will be going towards the cost of the challenge. Not self-funding will also mean that the sponsorship you receive will not be eligible for Gift Aid, which increases the value of donations by 25%.
Life Changing Challenges are not connected to Rowans Hospice in any way. They have agreed to provide a free listing and profile on Rowans Hospice in order to encourage people to select us as the benefitting charity when they book a challenge. You are making a contract solely with Life Changing Challenges. Rowans Hospice and its employees and volunteers cannot be held responsible for any personal injury, accident, loss, damage or public liability you incur while participating in a Life Changing Challenges trip.
