Light up a Life is a series of special, in-memory community events organised by Hospices and take place across the UK during the festive period. Christmas is a special time of year for us, a time to create new memories with people we love, but also a time to reflect and remember loved ones who live on forever in our hearts.
Join us for a meaningful evening, remembering those who are no longer with us whilst supporting the care provided for anyone being supported by the many services provided by Rowans Hospice.
Everyone is welcome to attend our Lake of Lights event, whether you have received support from Rowans Hospice, or not.
Join us at our annual Lake of Lights in-memory event, taking place at Canoe Lake in Southsea on Sunday, 15 December 2024, from 5:00pm.
Remember all those who are special to you and dedicate a candle that will be placed on the lake to create a magical ‘Lake of Lights’ whilst we reflect on memories shared with loved ones who are no longer with us.
There will be a remembrance service led by Spiritual Support Lead, Bryony Wildblood.
Parking will be available along the Seafront from Eastney to South Parade Pier, along with the Canoe Lake Car Park.
