Rowans Living Well Services want to reach out to those that have served in our armed forces.

  • Did you serve at least 1 day in the Armed Forces or Merchant Navy?
  • Are you experiencing loneliness or social isolation? Or need social connection?
  • Are you struggling to get to grips with your benefits and other entitlements?
  • Do you have concerns about the future and whether your loved ones will be looked after?​

This is an opportunity for any Female Veteran or Serving Personnel who is living with, had experience of caring or been bereaved through a life-limiting illness, to seek advice, support, socialisation, and companionship.

  • This will be a time to sit with others and reflect over tea and biscuits
  • A chance to have a chat with others that have had similar experiences
  • A theme to explore which will be set as an informal agenda.​

Programme

9 January 2025 – Celebrating your time in the Service, bring photos and memorabillia.
16 January 2025 – Royal Navy Commander shares experience in the Royal Navy
23 January 2025 – Experiences of life in the Royal Navy, issues facing the families and what support is available to them.
30 January 2025 – Senior Quality Manager at Boeing Defence UK shares experience in the Services.
