They have been privileged to sing in some iconic venues including St Peter’s Basilica in Rome, the cathedral In Santiago da Compostela and Notre Dame, Paris. The choir’s adventurous repertoire ranges from Renaissance polyphony to contemporary works, generally singing a cappella.
Portsmouth Cathedral Choir is made up of 24 boy Choristers, 22 Girl Choristers, 12 Lay Clerks and Choral Scholars who contribute to the daily worship within the Cathedral, singing for at least six services a week.
