Donating Your Items

When you donate clothes or other items to our Hospice high street shops, we can turn them into incredible hospice care and support to patients and their families in our local communities.

Help keep our shops full…

Streamlining your wardrobe, making space in your kitchen cupboards or just have pairs of shoes you’ve never worn? We need your help to keep our shops brimming with brilliant things!

We are always in need of ladies tops, dresses, shoes and handbags, as well as original vintage and retro items to sell in our vintage shops!

How can I donate?

We love to re-use what you don’t want. You can drop items off at our charity shops, Farlington warehouse or arrange a free collection from your home.

Home Collections

To book a FREE furniture collection please call us on 023 9238 3611.

Please be aware that we can only collect furniture items.

Clothing and bric-a-brac items should be taken to your local Rowans Hospice charity shop.

Please check that:

  • All items are in good condition, complete and work correctly
  • Each individual upholstered item has a fire label attached

We make the most of it…

All of the great quality items you donate to us will go to our high street shops or online eBay store to be sold. Anything we are unable to re-sell in our shops is recycled where we can, by selling the stock onto third parties and therefore still raising valuable income.

We can’t accept…

Whilst we would love to take all donations, there are some items we unfortunately cannot accept due to health & safety and legal reasons; some items would incur a cost to dispose of if accepted. Please see the list of excluded items here.
