Rowans Hospice needs volunteer handy people to keep our spaces beautiful and functional. If you’re a DIY enthusiast with a heart for helping, we would like to hear from you
Are you good at DIY or a skilled tradesperson? We’re looking for volunteers who can help us with maintenance tasks around our site. Tasks include painting, carpentry and general maintenance of our buildings.
You must abide by all health and safety guidelines as some heavy lifting will be involved.
For this role we’d like you to have some knowledge and experience of basic DIY. You’ll be part of a team who like to get stuck in and have a willingness help out and get their hands dirty. You should be happy to work in door and out doors (sometimes in unpredictable weather).
If you want to keep active, make new friends, or use your skills to help others this role might be perfect for you.
