Income Generation Officer – two roles available…..

Salary: £24,000.00 p.a.          Hours: 37.5 hours p.w.

The Rowans Hospice Charity has provided specialist palliative care and support to those affected by life limiting illness in Portsmouth and South East Hampshire for more than 27 years. Following a very challenging period, throughout which the Charity has continued to provide clinical care, we are developing our Income Generation team to meet new challenges in the coming years.

We have two exciting opportunities available in our Income Generation team as follows:

  • Income Generation Officer (Community Fundraising and Events)

This role will be accountable for fundraising across the community. Specifically, the planning, co-ordination and delivery of a portfolio of physical and virtual events throughout the year.

The aim of this role will involve the development of ideas for fundraising and events, project planning and implementation, logistics and event/donor administration, as well as supporting fundraisers with their own events.

Income Generation Officer (Donor Relations and Development)

This role will be accountable for supporting the coordination of donor relations and activities, including acknowledgment, recognition and impact so as to enable the Charity to offer an exceptional donor experience.

The aim of this role will involve the development of the donor experience in a variety of settings.  The ideal candidate will have the ability to organise and analyse complex data streams and to present information in a logical manner.
