Income Generation Officer (Fundraising and Events)
37.5 hours
£24000.00 per annum
The Rowans Hospice Charity has provided specialist palliative care and support to patients with life limiting illnesses in Portsmouth and South East Hampshire for more than 27 years. Following a very challenging period, throughout which the Charity has continued to provide clinical care, we will be developing our Income Generation team to meet new challenges in the coming years.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Income Generation Officer to join the team who will be accountable for fundraising and events. Specifically, the planning, co-ordination and delivery of a portfolio of physical and virtual events throughout the year.
The role will involve the development of ideas for fundraising and events, project planning and management, logistics and event/donor administration. A positive ‘can do’ attitude is welcome as is the resilience and wherewithal to drive for success. Creativity and innovation will support the ideal candidate as will the ability to research and develop ideas already in the fundraising arena. There will be aspects of marketing and communication across all channels in this role.
