Raised £2277 and still rising
A huge thank you to Amy and her dad Shaun, who took on the Sandstell Road Spittal Half Marathon in Berwick-upon-Tweed to raise funds for Rowans Hospice in memory of their much-loved uncle and brother, Steve Thomas. Steve passed away just five weeks after a cancer diagnosis. In that incredibly short time, Rowans Hospice provided expert care, compassion, and support to Steve and his family — care that he personally thanked the team for before he died.
Running side by side, Amy and Shaun honoured Steve’s memory and raised vital funds to help ensure other families receive the same comfort and support in their most difficult moments. You can find out more on their JustGiving page here.
