Great South Run

Will you support local Hospice care by taking on the most iconic 10 mile race in the South of England?

Rowans Hospice Charity has purchased Charity bond places for the Great South Run on Sunday, 16 October 2022.  Whilst each place costs the Charity in excess of the standard fee, we recognise the support you are giving by fundraising for us. Therefore, to keep the cost of your place in line with the standard fee we ask our runners to pay £45 for their bond place.

The entry fee includes your place in the Great South Run, a Rowans Hospice Charity running vest and your event pack from the official organisers which will be sent to you prior to the event and includes your running number and timing chip so your family and friends can track your progress on the day. Once you have crossed the finish line you will also receive a shiny new medal and an exclusive t-shirt from the Great South Run!

With only 10 Charity bond places available, make sure to let us know you will be running for Rowans by registering below!

Go the extra mile with Corporate Support!

There are a few ways in which your employer can support your amazing fundraising efforts when you take on the Great South Run and Run for Rowans. Here are some top tips to try!

  • Match funding is a great way to enhance your fundraising. For every £1 you raise, your employer donates £1. Double the donation and double the impact! Why not ask your employer to see if they will be able to help you reach your fundraising goals?
  • Make sure to share your fundraising page with fellow employees. Your page could also be featured in the company newsletter or intranet explaining why you are Running for Rowans!
  • If you have a reception desk, pop a collection tin on the desk. Your clients would love to know that your business supports their local community and hospice care.
  • Alternatively, could your employer support you by covering your Great South Run entry fee so that every penny raised supports local Hospice care?
