About the role

The Corporate Partnerships Executive will play a key role within our Fundraising and Income Generation teams, helping to grow the charity’s income through successful corporate partnerships.

We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven individual with excellent networking and relationship-building skills to identify, develop and manage corporate partnerships that make a real difference.  You will be responsible for securing new business opportunities while nurturing existing partnerships to maximise long-term support for the Hospice.

Key responsibilities include:

• Work with the Head of Fundraising and Marketing to develop and implement strategies that engage businesses and secure corporate sponsorships, donations and partnerships.
• Develop and manage a strong pipeline of prospective corporate supporters, ensuring an excellent supporter journey from initial contact through to long-term partnership.
• Identify, research and approach prospective corporate partners to secure new business opportunities.
• Manage and develop existing corporate partnerships, ensuring continued engagement, stewardship and support.
• Secure corporate sponsorship for Hospice-led events.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Income Generation Directorate, including Voluntary Services, Retail, Supporter Care and Marketing, to maximise fundraising opportunities.
• Secure Gift in Kind support.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience of prospect management.
• Proven experience of winning new business.
• Proven experience of supporter or customer stewardship.
• Proven experience of account management and relationship development.
• Experience of generating income and working towards financial targets.
• Experience of using databases and CRM systems.
• The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• The ability to work independently while seeking support and guidance from your line manager and colleagues when appropriate.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to speak passionately and appropriately about the Hospice.
