Jemima is a warm, steady presence on the In-patient Unit, providing compassionate, person-centred palliative care that focuses on comfort, dignity, and quality of life. Jemima supports patients with complex symptom management, eases pain and anxiety, and offers reassurance to both patients and families through some of their most difficult moments.
“Working at the Rowans Hospice means caring for people when they need it most. My role is about easing pain, offering comfort, and making sure no one feels alone at the end of their life. It’s a privilege to support patients and their loved ones with compassion, dignity, and kindness during such an important time.”

Vicki helps people who are living with a life-limiting and progressive illness, live as fully and independently as possible. She also supports carers, family and friends during any stage of the illness including bereavement. From running wellbeing sessions to providing personalised clinical assessments, her focus is understanding what matters most to the people she is caring for.
“Here, we meet people where they are at and empower them to live as well as possible by being alongside them through illness, caring journey and bereavement.”

Matt brings skilled, compassionate care into people’s homes, supporting patients who wish to remain in familiar surroundings within the last weeks of their life. He provides both clinical expertise and calm reassurance to patients and their loved ones.
“I feel privileged to be welcomed into the homes and life journeys of vulnerable people in our community, representing the Rowans name. Because of the trust our name holds, we are invited to support patients and their families through some of the most intimate and challenging moments and help people remain in the comfort of their own homes at the end of life. It means the world.”
