Our Ward Volunteers help serve our patients with meals and refreshments under the guidance of our Patient Care Volunteer Coordinators (PCVC) and comfort and support distressed patients, their families and friends, passing any counselling responsibility to the Nursing Teams. Please see role description for full details of this volunteering opportunity.
Wednesday 11.30am-3.30pm
Thursday 11.30am-3.30pm
Thursday 4.30pm-7.30pm (alternate weeks)
Saturday 4.30pm-7.30pm (ideally weekly but could accommodate alternate weeks)
Bank shifts to cover holidays and sickness.
The shifts are sent out on a regular basis and you can pick and choose what suits your availability.
