Rowans Hospice welcomes students from local schools who wish to complete their work experience placement with us.
We provide a timetable of volunteering opportunities in various areas across the Rowans Hospice Group, including on the ward, in administrative roles and in our retail shops, and we ensure students are well supported during their time here.
Working at Rowans Hospice during your work experience placement, you can expect to:
- work in a very supportive and friendly environment
- gain a positive experience of volunteering to add to your CV
- experience the real world of work where you are relied upon to complete tasks and activities
- learn new skills, build relationships with colleagues and gain confidence.
