Moonlit Memories Walk 2023 – Terms and Conditions

  • The event is open to all adults aged 16 plus.
  • Children aged 11-15 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Each adult participant can accompany up to two children.
  • Please complete one registration form per participant. Teams/groups must also complete one per participant.
  • Moonlit Memories Walk is a sponsored charity event and by taking part you pledge to raise as much sponsorship money as possible – the suggested target is £100. We appreciate for some this is a challenge, however, every £1 of sponsorship is important to us. We will send you a fundraising and information pack once we have received your completed registration form.
  • Participants must be physically fit and able to complete the event.
  • The event will commence at 21:30 and you have a choice to walk either 6 miles or 10 miles.
  • Running is not permitted, the event is not a race.
  • Rowans Hospice Charity can accept no liability for any injury you may sustain or any property you may lose or damage during this event.
  • No alcohol is to be brought into, or consumed prior to, or during the event.
  • Dogs are allowed (excluding The Dockyard), however, they must be kept on a short lead at all times. (No extendable leads are permitted). Please ensure you clean up after them.
  • Should any Government or Council COVID-19 guidelines change, this event is subject to cancellation or postponement at short notice.
  • Hand sanitiser will be available at check-in, or you can bring your own.
  • Should you experience any COVID-19 symptoms prior to the event, please adhere to the Government guidelines and DO NOT attend.
  • All entries will be processed in the order that we receive them.
  • The closing date for entries is Sunday, 14 May 2023.
  • Registrations will be permitted on the day of the event, however registering on our website in advance, will guarantee your place.
  • By registering for the Moonlit Memories Walk 2023 you are consenting to any photographs and/or videos taken during the event to possibly be used in future promotional materials, including Social Media. Please make the official event photographer aware if you would not like to have your photos taken.
  • If you are unable to take part please let us know as soon as possible.
  • The entry fee is non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by Rowans Hospice Charity.
