Bank Ward Clerk – In Patient Unit

£22,816.50 – £24, 335.85 FTE (depending on experience)

Rowans Hospice is an independent organisation offering specialist palliative care to patients with life limiting disease, located in Waterlooville, Hampshire.

As a Charity, we offer opportunities for palliative support to patients and their families over an extensive range of in-patient and out-patient services; we pride ourselves on our excellent care for patients, their families, our staff and volunteers. The Hospice is proud to have been rated as outstanding in the latest CQC inspection.

We have an opportunity for a self-motivated and dynamic Ward Clerk to join our Bank Staff Team. Working alongside our clinicians you will ensure that the ward runs smoothly.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in an administration role and possess strong word processing, database administration skills and ideally have a healthcare background.

The role of ward clerk can be very demanding, you will need to be able to respond to changing situations and work on your own initiative. Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills. The ability to work flexibly and as part of a team is essential in this role.
