We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Retail Business Support Lead to join our retail logistics operation based at our warehouse in Farlington. The role holder will be responsible for leading the Logistics team in organising and managing the daily safe collection, delivery and/or distribution of donations, ensuring that the Charity’s vehicles are used safely and organised in a cost-effective way, ensuring they are utilised to their full potential.
We are particularly looking for someone with experience of working within a logistics/transport/warehouse environment and knowledge of logistical operations. The successful candidate will enjoy working as part of a team and will have a “can do” attitude, with the responsibility to effectively lead the team in the day to day tasks, as well as being able to ensure that the logistics operation flows efficiently at all times.
A full clean driving licence is a requirement of the role and there will also be the opportunity to work additional hours to support annual leave cover, this could be up to a maximum of 40 hours per week.
