The Rowans Hospice Charity has provided specialist palliative care and support to patients with life limiting illnesses, and to their relatives and carers in Portsmouth and South East Hampshire for more than 26 years.
An opportunity has arisen for a Finance Assistant to join our busy team at the Rowans Hospice, to provide financial support and expertise to a valued local Charity.
The role is initially to support the production of monthly management accounts, related balance sheet reconciliations and other transactional processing. This will lead to wider exposure to the finance function of the organisation.
The successful candidate will need to be AAT qualified and able to demonstrate relevant finance experience. Experience with Charity finance, including gift aid and VAT would be a real advantage.
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with great communication and interpersonal skills who want to develop their existing skillset in a busy varied team.
