The Rowans Hospice Charity is an independent organisation offering specialist palliative care to patients with life limiting disease, located in Waterlooville, Hampshire.
As a Charity, we offer opportunities for palliative support to patients and their families over an extensive range of in-patient and out-patient services; we pride ourselves on our excellent care for patients, their families, our staff and volunteers. The Hospice is proud to have been rated as outstanding in the latest CQC inspection.
We currently have an opportunity for a Clinical Administrator to join the Charity in supporting the Hospice at Home and Ward team. The main focus is within the Hospice at Home team who deliver care and support to our patients within their own homes. Duties will include monitoring correspondence to the clinical teams, word processing, diary management and a range of general administrative tasks to support the clinical teams. There will also be the requirement to support the In-Patient team Manager with administration tasks as required.
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated background in administration, ideally within a healthcare environment. You will hold a RSA 3 or equivalent qualification and have experience in the use of all Microsoft office packages. Previous experience of RIO and or System 1 would be an advantage but not essential.
