We have a great opportunity for a commercially minded and community focused person who will lead a diverse team of people, taking a pro-active approach in the day-to-day operations within one of our Rowans Hospice Charity retail shops.
The Associate Shop Manager position will incorporate a training programme, supporting the post holder in learning the responsibilities of managing one of our retail shops with the opportunity to complete this across various locations in our community Hampshire.
You will be responsible for maintaining a high standard in all administration, financial management and cash handling, security procedures and housekeeping tasks, taking the initiative to work with the wider retail team to share best practice and develop sales and the operation.
The post holder will be required to line manage a dedicated team of staff and volunteers, and to use their excellent leadership skills to guide and coach the team to develop a sustainable income stream for the Rowans Hospice. You will take a proactive interest in recruiting, developing and retaining your staff members and volunteers, ensuring that they meet their personal aspirations as well as upholding the reputation that the Charity is renowned for.
As well as ensuring an outstanding customer experience you will also be expected to actively promote all Rowans initiatives and campaigns to promote awareness of the Charity.
We are particularly interested in speaking to people who have retail experience, well developed interpersonal skills and proven leadership skills. In order to support the teams in other shops when required in line with business needs, a full clean driving licence and transport is a requirement of the role.
