John Hughes

Having been a General Practitioner locally for many years, and recognising the fantastic work which the Rowans Hospice Charity has been doing for the last 25 years, it was a privilege to be asked to join the Board of Trustees last year. Recent developments, especially the Living Well Centre and the Hospice at Home service, demonstrate that the Charity is determined to extend the reach of excellent palliative care into the community and to touch the lives of as many people and their families as possible. The Charity is going from strength to strength, and with the continued support of the community it will continue to grow and prosper for the foreseeable future.​
