At just 8 years old, Elisa took on a heartfelt challenge to cycle 20 miles around Langstone Harbour — all to raise money for Rowans Hospice in memory of her Daddy, Pip, who passed away from cancer when she was just 5.
Elisa’s Daddy loved cycling. He taught her to ride her first pedal bike, and now she’s using that special memory to give back.
On Elisa’s JustGiving page, Elisa’s mum shared how the support from Rowans — especially through the Meerkats children’s service and the psychology team — helped them through the most difficult time in their lives. By cycling in her Daddy’s honour, Elisa is not only remembering him in a beautiful and meaningful way, but also helping other families facing similar loss.
