Trek Nepal

The challenge is on to trek to Poon Hill (3,210m) in the stunning Annapurna region. The trek will take us through charming Nepalese villages where we will experience the culture of the mountain people of Nepal first hand. The challenge will be tough but the friendship and camaraderie along the way will be very special.


Day 1 – Flight from London to Kathmandu, arriving the next day

Day 2 – Arrive in Kathmandu, get settled and have a pre-trek briefing.

Day 3 – Fly to Pokhara and trek to Syauli (1,230m, approximately 4 hours)

Day 4 – Trek Syauli to Ghandruk (1,950m, approximately 6 hours)

Day 5 – Trek Ghandruk to Tadapani (2,700m, approximately 6 hours)

Day 6 – Trek Tadapani to Ghorepani (2,780m, approximately 6 hours)

Day 7 – Poon Hill (3,210m) to Tirkedunga (1,550m, approximately 8 hours)

Day 8 – Trek Tirkedunga to Nayapool and transfer to Pokhara (805m, approximately 4 hours)

Day 9 – Fly to Kathmandu and celebrate!

Day 10 – Depart Kathmandu after enjoying some free time

Day 11 – Arrive back in the UK

Where? Flying to and from Kathmandu and travelling around the Himalayas

When? 31st March – 10th April 2017 (unless you want to extend your travels)

How much? Minimum sponsorship: Fundraise a minimum of £2,900 and we will pay your tour costs on your behalf.

Self funding with sponsorship: Pay the tour costs of £1,400 yourself and then fundraise as much as you can for  Rowans Hospice.

Costs include flights, food, accommodation, transfers, guides, medical and technical report and bikes, but does not include airport taxes, fuel surcharge, travel insurance, VISAs and vaccines if needed.
