Here at the Living Well Services we recognise the challenges unpaid carers face and the contribution they make to families and communities.
We want to make sure your voices are heard, validate your experience, know you are and feel seen, respected and that you are aware of the services and support that you can access.
How many times have you been told to make sure you look after yourself? And you think to yourself “how?” ?
Many carers value the opportunity of facilitated peer support, spending time with a professional and making connections with others who share their situation in the same way, but not all have the opportunity to leave the house for various reasons.
We have been exploring creative ways to reach out to the community. One of these options is a Virtual Wellbeing Support for Carers group led by Kim Dunkason, Unpaid Carer and Professional Coach, focussed on Wellbeing and Jill Short, Living Well Services Manager.
The aim of these sessions is to provide space, helping you find ways to improve how you are feeling, along with valuable tools for your support toolbox.
5 sessions each lasting 40 mins
