We are delighted to announce the return of our very popular Summer Fete!
Please join us on Sunday, 03 September 2023 between 12:00 – 16:00 hrs at Purbrook Heath on Purbrook Heath Road (across the road from the Hospice) for a guaranteed afternoon of fun and entertainment.
Come along with family and friends and sit back and relax whilst listening to music by the Buskerteers Choir, enjoy a performance by Bessie Curson’s Dance School, or grab an ice cream after taking part in some of the fun activities and browsing the traditional stalls.
Children – and maybe even adults – will get to enjoy traditional Summer Fete entertainment, including a bouncy castle, children’s rides and candyfloss.
Entrance to the Summer Fete is FREE, however, donations are welcome and very much appreciated. Every penny will make a difference to those affected by a life-limiting illness.
We are unable to guarantee that stalls will be able to accept card payments, so we advise bringing cash on the day. We will certainly have a lot on offer and are very excited for a fun-filled afternoon.
We will also hold the Grand Draw of our Summer Raffle on the day, where 10 lucky winners will walk away with a fantastic prize. There will be the opportunity to purchase your tickets on the day. Alternatively, you can purchase your tickets on our website here, in one of our 17 Retail shops or at the Hospice reception.
The Charity is thrilled to confirm the Rowans Dog Show will be making a return this year! Entry is £2.00 per dog for one class and £1.00 for each additional class entered, just sign up before 14:30 hrs on the day. Prizes are kindly supplied by Muttkuts Dog Grooming & Pet Supplies.

The Rowans Hospice Charity Summer Fete would not be possible without the generous support of the following companies and individuals, so we would like to extend our thanks to…
Parking marshals will direct blue badge holders to designated parking spaces.
