Join a support group

The dedicated men and women of our volunteer Support Groups play a vital role in raising funds for The Rowans Hospice. Last year they contributed over £85,000 to help keep our care services completely free of charge.

Support Groups help us in a huge variety of ways. They provide community support throughout the year from coffee mornings and plant sales to quiz nights and creative workshops. They also regularly support us at many of our latest events.

We have twelve Support Groups throughout our area of care. In addition to raising much needed funds they play an important role in raising local awareness of the services we provide to the community. 

We are looking to add to the number of  the Support Groups with new ones in both Petersfield and Bishops Waltham. Following the opening of our two new shops in these towns we are actively seeking volunteers to start new fundraising groups in each area. There will be plenty of help on hand to guide and encourage you.
This is an opportunity to meet new people, learn new skills, use old skills. Our volunteer Support Groups provide an important link between the Hospice and the community. They also play a valuable role in raising awareness of the Hospice in their neighbourhood by attending organised events and promotional stands.
