"The Rowans Hospice has proved to be a great charity for us to get involved with. The hospice is a short distance from our Financial Solutions Centre in Portsmouth and this allows us to take part in a range of volunteering activities. Over the past two years we have assisted with:
- Gardening work in the grounds of the hospice to provide a better outdoor environment for patients and visitors, with further gardening planned
- Assisting with a local leaflet drop to encourage donations for the charity shops
- Taking part in the Moonlit Memories Walk
- Inviting staff from the hospice to our 4th Birthday Party to allow them the opportunity to network with the local business community. This resulted in press coverage for the hospice as well as several corporate donations and commitments to help out with volunteering and sponsored events
