Senior 1 Physiotherapist - Band 6b
£20,225.39 per annum based on 22.5 hours per week worked over 3 days

Due to the opening of our new Living Well Centre we are excited to be able to offer an opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist to join the existing team.
The successful candidate will work as part of a physiotherapy team and the multi-professional team providing care for patients with specialist palliative care needs within the Hospice. It is essential that candidates are State Registered Physiotherapists.

Day Care Administrator
27 hours per week
£11,256.15 per annum
Due to internal developments we are recruiting for the role of Day Care Administrator to join the existing team.
You will provide a key role within the team ensuring the administration within the department is undertaken in an efficient and professional manner. You will be responsible for taking patient referrals from Health Care Professionals and at times patients; where necessary sign posting patients to their GP or District Nurse. You will liaise with patients and families and ensure that the Day Care team are updated with patient changes as necessary.
The role will involve obtaining patient notes and creating new patient files and in turn ensuring that the EPR system is updated accurately and efficiently in line with the DPA. You will work alongside the People Services Department to arrange transport for patients to attend the centre as required. Statistical reporting will also be required on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis based on activity within the centre.
The ideal candidate will have experience of administration and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Word. You will have excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills and be able to work with the changing demands of the service.

You will be responsible for contributing to and assisting with the catering services provided within the hospice for patients, visitors, staff and functions held at the Hospice and Living Well Centre.
You will be expected to carry out duties without direct supervision and to supervise, where necessary, Catering Assistants.
The successful candidate will have catering experience and hold a City and Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 in Professional Cookery or equivalent. A certificate in Food Hygiene is essential.

Staff Nurse - Hospice at Home Service

The Hospice at Home Service are expanding their services to support patients returning home from the ward and in some cases supporting nursing homes who are not equipped to cope with the complex nature of care required by our patients.
We are looking to recruit a number of trained nurses to join the existing team of trained and untrained nurses to continue to deliver the high standard of care across the service.
The successful candidates will be NMC registered and have experience in palliative care. One year's post registration experience is essential. Ideally you will hold a post qualifying qualification, however this is not essential.
All candidates must have a full clean diriving license and have access to a car.
