We have a multi-million pound turnover and employ approximately 300 people with over 1,500 volunteers across the Hospice and The Trading Company.

Hospice Companions Co-ordinator
26 hours per week
£12,250.84 pro rata

Hospice Companions is a service which aims to increase the level of independence, choice and control of people living within their own homes within the last year of life. The service will fulfil this aim by providing emotional and practical support.

We are now recruiting for a Co-ordinator to support the ongoing success of the Hospice Companions service. The role will involve providing support for volunteers within the service and carrying out assessments of the needs of clients requesting the service. The role may also involve providing teaching support as identified.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of providing secretarial support with experience of Microsoft office in particular the use of work and outlook and the ability to process data and maintain a database. A full clean driving license and use of a car is essential.

Living Well Centre Administrator
26 hours per week
£12,250.84 pro rata

The Living Well Centre Administrator will provide a receptionist role to the service to ensure clients and carers are greeted and signposted to the appropriate area with the upmost care and attention. You will provide key administrative support by dealing with all telephone calls, emails and incoming and outgoing post; and complete all administration required to ensure the smooth running of the service. You will be required to ensure that the EPR system is maintained with accurate and up to date information.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of providing administrative support, ideally within a healthcare setting. You will have excellent word processing skills, supported by an RSA level 3 or equivalent qualification. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to prioritise your workload to meet the changing needs of the service.

Staff Nurse - Hospice at Home Service

Full and part time positions available

£25,409 pro rata


The Hospice at Home Service are expanding their services to support patients returning home from the ward and in some cases supporting nursing homes who are not equipped to cope with the complex nature of care required by our patients.


We are looking to recruit a number of trained nurses to join the existing team of trained and untrained nurses to continue to deliver the high standard of care across the service.


The successful candidates will be NMC registered and have experience in palliative care.  One year's post registration experience is essential.  Ideally you will hold a post qualifying qualification, however this is not essential.


All candidates must have a full clean diriving license and have access to a car.
