We have a multi-million pound turnover and employ approximately 300 people with over 1,500 volunteers across the Hospice and The Trading Company.

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced receptionist to provide a professional and dedicated service to all visitors to the Hospice.
The role will be varied and best suited to someone who is confident and thrives in a fast moving and busy environment. You will be the first point of contact for families visiting loved ones and therefore an empathic and sensitive approach to your work is key.
Main receptionist responsibilities will include meeting and greeting visitors, managing payments of New Goods and communicating with staff and volunteers across the Hospice. In addition the successful candidate will supervise our Coffee Shop, Telephone Room and Reception Volunteers to ensure all areas run smoothly.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working as a receptionist, ideally within a Healthcare profession, supported by a BTEC in Business Administration or equivilent. You will be experienced in Microsoft Office and ideally hold a qualification. Experience of facilities management and COSHH would be an advantage but are not essential. You will have excellent customer service experience, be presentable, polite, friendly and personable in your approach to work.

Sales Assistant - Cosham Furniture Shop
22.5 hours per week to include weekend working
£9,209.23 per annum
You will assist the Shop Manager with the daily operation of the shop and work with the volunteer team to achieve sales targets. You will promote the work of The Rowans Hospice and contribute towards maximising the success of the shop in general.
The ideal candidate will have a knowledge of furtnirue and previous experience, however training will be provided.

Staff Nurse - Hospice at Home Service
Full and part time positions available
£25,409 pro rata
The Hospice at Home Service are expanding their services to support patients returning home from the ward and in some cases supporting nursing homes who are not equipped to cope with the complex nature of care required by our patients.
We are looking to recruit a number of trained nurses to join the existing team of trained and untrained nurses to continue to deliver the high standard of care across the service.
The successful candidates will be NMC registered and have experience in palliative care. One year's post registration experience is essential. Ideally you will hold a post qualifying qualification, however this is not essential.
All candidates must have a full clean diriving license and have access to a car.

We are seeking an experienced Nurse to join The Rowans Hospice in providing end of life care support to people with dementia.
The successful candidate will have the expertise to provide specialist clinical advice, education and training to clinical staff caring for people with dementia or other cognitive impairment. You will provide specialist nursing assessment, intervention, advice and support to patients, their carers and families in their own homes.
You will be flexible and supportive in order to achieve the best possible care ensuring a cohesive, holistic multi-disciplinary approach to the management of end of life care for patients with dementia.
The ideal candidate will have:
• RGN/RMN qualified
• NMC (Nursing & Midwifery Council registration
• Five years’ experience of working with people with advanced dementia
• Knowledge of Mental Health Act
• Experience of palliative care
• Experience of working in the community, primary and acute settings
• Patient centric and commitment to delivering high quality care
• Enhanced DBS clearance
• Full driving licence with access to own vehicle
