When you create a Rowans Hospice Website Account, by for example join The Rowans Hospice Lottery or registering online for the Moonlit Memories Walk, we need to know your contact details. This allows us to process your entry/payments and ensures we can contact you if there are any problems at any time. You have the option to withhold personal information that is not required for this purpose but filling in additional information can help us provide a better service. Information that is required will be clearly indicated when you go through the sign up process.
With your permission, we use your personal information for keeping you informed about the Lottery, and also for sending hospice newsletters and details of hospice events. Your details will be kept on a database for this purpose.
We will not disclose this information to any other person or organisations except in connection with the above. We offer online payment processing for registration on certain events through the year as well as processing online donations to the hospice. In most cases, you are required to have a Rowans Hospice Website Account in order to carry out payments. We store in our Databases necessary information in order for us to process your payment. We DO NOT store your payment details in our website.
We use Sage Pay to process your payments and you will be automatically sent to the Sage Pay secure payment pages when carrying out your payment. Sage Pay will then let the Rowans Hospice Website know if your payment has been successful or not and we will then store that response and process any further actions as necessary for administration purposes.
The Rowans Hospice provide external links to other websites. The Rowans Hospice cannot accept any responsibility for the quality of external sites or the levels of privacy protection they provide.
