May Day Picnic on The Green

A perfect way to spend Springtime!

Bring your own picnic and relax with the family at this May Day event organised by the Rowlands Castle Association raising funds for The Rowans Hospice. A BBQ will be available on the forecourt of 'The Fountain' and entertainment provided by the Blendworth Brass Band playing a programme of popular music.

Fly like a bird!

Skydive! A breathtaking 2.5 mile high parachute jump: jumping 13,000 ft in tandem with an instructor, you will freefall 5,000ft reaching 120mph and then as your parachute opens you will experience a tranquil ride back to the drop zone!
Divers must be 16 years and over and under 16 stone.
Cost of Registration £225, which includes training and equipment, you are asked to raise a minimum sponsorship of £200 making £425 in total.
The event can also be arranged for any day to suit you. See 'Year round events.'

A wonderful event!

The Portsmouth South Support Group invite golfers to enter their Charity Golf Day, kindly hosted by Southwick Park Golf Club, and raise funds for The Rowans Hospice.
Teams of four, any combination of men, ladies, juniors or seniors. Entry fee per player - members £34.00, non-members £45.00, includes coffee and bacon roll on arrival and a two course meal after the golf at approx 5.00pm. Many prizes to be won!

A chance to enjoy the game of golf whilst raising funds for your local Hospice.

This Charity Golf Day for The Rowans Hospice has been a regular feature of Portsmouth Golf Club's fixture list since 2000  and in that time has raised tens of thousands of pounds!. 
The event  will be a great day for everyone to enjoy. There will be many great prizes, including a £10,000 car to be won. Cash prizes from £500 - £1,000. In addition there will be a BBQ and raffles. 
Entry £10.00 per player plus green fees, or £80.00 for a four man team includes green fees, entry into competition and entry into the 'Hole in One' competition to win the car.

Take part in this Ultra Challenge of 100km walking from London to Brighton and raise money for The Rowans Hospice!

Take part in the Action Challenge's London 2 Brighton Challenge - one of the UK's great endurance events. The Ultra Challenge starts on 28th May, starting at Richmond in West London and taking in paths, trails and some highs and lows on the way to Brighton. If that is a little too far, a half route option is also available.

This is a tough challenge - walk it, jog it or run it - it's your challenge, your way!

To join, you will pay an initial registration fee online per person or per team member. This secures your place and is non-refundable, and then commit to a minimum sponsorship target.

  • Full Challenge (100km) - registration fee £69 and fundraising target £395 per person
  • Half Challenge (1st or 2nd - 56/44km) - registration fee £49 and fundraising target £250 per person

A day of Duo-Fun!

You need to be fit!

To raise funds for charities, including The Rowans Hospice, Sharon Henderson is organising a Duo Fun event. This involves a Jog of 6 miles from Petersfield Station to The Red Lion, Chalton, followed by a Cycle Ride of 11 miles from The Red Lion to The Ship Inn, Langstone. There is an overrall time limit of 150 minutes and forfeits can be incurred!

Stretch your legs with this Annual  25 Mile Charity Bike Ride, around Liphook and surrounding villages, organised by the Liphook and District Business Association. Ride for The Rowans Hospice and help to raise vital funds.
Entry just £5.00 if registered in advance. Register on their website at www.liphookbikeride.com selecting the charity option. Once registered please complete the Information Form and return it to the Fundraising Department to receive an Information Pack and a T shirt. 
Please note that it will be compulsory for all riders to wear a helmet.

Daredevils are wanted to take our Abseil Challenge to brave the 94 metre descent down the iconic Emirates Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth. This event will take place on both the 2nd and 3rd July 2016.

Over 18s only, open to all who are fit and under 21 stone. If any doubt as to your condition obtain a doctor's certificate. 
Registration costs £50 and you are asked to raise £200 sponsorship.

You can now register online for our 2016 Abseil. Please state your prefered date - either Saturday 2nd or Sunday 3rd July.

The Rachel Griffin Ball to raise funds for The Rowans Hospice is an event not to be missed! Having dined there will be entertainment from The Mixtape and Discos 4 All.
Tickets at £50.00. A £15.00 deposit is required by 29th April, £17.50 payment with menus by 30th June and final payment of £17.50 by 30th September. Payments can be made by cash, cheques or BACS transfer.  
Dress code will be DJ or suit and tie for the men and cocktail or evening dress for the ladies. Rooms available at the Club quoting the event.

Fly like a bird! On a day to suit YOU!

Help us raise funds by making an exhilarating 10,000 feet freefall tandem parachute jump! 

Imagine, freefalling  for 5,000 feet reaching speeds of 120 mph before opening your parachute for a 5 minute canopy ride taking in the stunning landscape before landing in front of spectators with friends and family having a grandstand view! 
Divers must be 16 years and over and under 16 stone.

Cost of registration is £225, which includes training and equipment, and you are asked to raise a minimum of £200 sponsorship making a total of £425.
